Hereby i have an important announcement to you all and i hope you take the time to read it and understand how serious the situation is!

The Dutch Fraud Helpdesk announced in January 2013 the official figures about the so called Booty advance fee fraud, in other words SCAMS. (See the story below in the link).

This means that only in the Netherlands (where i am from) a number of 1100 scams was reported in 2012 compared to 600 in 2011. This is a increase of 183,333% !!

The Netherlands has an estimated population of 16,751,323 people compared to and estimated population of 315,125,000 in the USA.
Imagine how many reports where made in the USA and then we are talking about 2 countries and also we are talking about the "reported" scams.

I quote from the Fraud Helpdesk:
"In total last year was 10.5 million euros in damages Fraud Helpdesk reported an alarming increase of 10 percent compared to 2011. But the real damage is according Vermeulen much higher. "We know from research that we easily can multiply by ten. We take seriously into account more than 100 million euros over the whole year."

Again we are talking about only The Netherlands!

The problem is not the TagListed group on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/TagListed where you all do a great job.

The problem is also not the original TagListed forum http://taglisted.forumotion.com that i started Sat 27 Feb 2010 and work on with our top posers to improve every day to inform us all to not be scammed.

The problem is also not all other groups and forums and sites that spend so much time and energy and maybe in some cases even money to prevent the scam to happen

The problem is that lets say 90% of all that visit an anti scam site, forum or group is not reading in an understandable way what it is telling and teaching and warning them!

Please i ask you to share this and also to be a part in fighting scam on this forum or on the social network or at any other forum or site that is against scam. Share this message if you want.

Remember:
The war is far away from winning, lets make 2013 a year of improvement.

As most of us know, to win this war we should focus not on busting the scammers but on educating the people!
